About me
I'm a senior product designer with six years of experience building products that have to work for real people and still make business sense. My background is in psychology and research, so I tend to start with how users actually behave when they're rushed, distracted, or halfway through something else.
Most of that experience comes from consulting at a digital transformation firm, working with clients in finance, e-commerce, transportation, and healthcare. Projects I've led have brought in over $4 million for the firm. Much of the work involved systems that had grown complicated over years of patches, mergers, and competing internal priorities, and my job was to rebuild them into something a new user could learn in an afternoon. That means user research, design systems, and product strategy, usually in that order.
Outside of client work I stay active in my local design community and spend time on how AI changes the way design systems get built and maintained. I'm also a big fan of sitcoms, hiking, sunset photography, and my cat, Supernova!
